  “MANCHALA SHANKARAIAH GUPTHA CHARITABLE TRUST”

  The initiation to start this charitable trust came from the teachings, ideology and noble thoughts of my grandfather,  a freedom fighter Late Sri Manchala Rajesham Guptha. I was inspired by his stories about freedom struggle. He always used to say that contribution by everyone for the well being of the society is a must to help people around us who are in need by supporting them in education,  during illness and so on.

  To give snap to such noble thoughts, a trust is formed and is named in memory of my father Late Sri Manchala Shankaraiah Guptha  i,e; “MANCHALA SHANKARAIAH GUPTHA CHARITABLE TRUST”.

  A person in one’s life might have earned money, fame, luxuries and might have donated lot of money to needy, but at the end every one has a common destination, The Graveyard..
To take the body to graveyard people use auto Lorry or DCM van etc.. in a procession with band and crackers, but it is felt that there is some gap left.

    To fill this gap and to make the last journey more better the trust has come up with “SWARGA YATRA RATHAM” extending services even after death. The Ratham not only provides good space to letdown the body but also provides space for 20 people inside. It is well decorated and has provision for mic set and sound system. The trust provides the Ratham and food for 40 people on the funeral day “free of cost”.
   When I shared the above proposal with my friends and well wishers like sri Dhanpal Suryanarayan Guptha and Dr.M.Venkata Ramana, they appreciated the idea and encouraged me in implementing the same whole hearted. saying these type of services can be done only by few people like me..

  Many of my friends came forward to contribute money for this purpose when the idea was shared with them. But I sincerely denied any help as I wanted to contribute the whole amount on my own in memory of my father Late Sri Manchala Shankaraiah Guptha.

  The amount spent on the SWARG YATRA RATHAM is approximately Rs.10,00,000/- Many of my friends came forward to contribute money for this purpose when the idea was shared with them. But I sincerely denied any help as I wanted to contribute the whole amount on my own in memory of my father Late Sri Manchala Shankaraiah Guptha. The amount spent on the SWARG YATRA RATHAM is approximately Rs.10,00,000/-
   Apart from contributing the poor and needy for the education, in the coming days I wish to conduct some health camps & veterinary camps in rural areas or wherever these services are needed.Kindly share any other ideas in service of the community.
  We started it alone, your support can make it a big, a large foundation working towards the betterment of the society.
